Overview
For steel bar converting and finishing operations, MetriLogic created a dedicated version of MetriLink.IS that is engineered to meet the specific quality control and production/process control needs of steel bar finishing operations, including:

• Grinding
• Shaving
• Breakdown
• Drawing
• Rough cut

• Measurements are made on a per-bar basis.
• SPC data are collected on a per-bundle and on a per-order basis.
• A high-speed gauge interface accommodates high-speed outside diameter scanners.
• Operator monitors - on screen - each bar measurement and average bar size.
• Other features: alarm screen, central database archiving, user-generated printed reports.
